What You Don't Need

No Diploma

California doesn't require a high school diploma for CNA certification. Minimum age 16+ (18+ for independent enrollment) with English proficiency.

CDPH-Approved Online Theory

Theory instruction delivered via live Zoom sessions -- approved by the California Department of Public Health per HSC §1337.1(b)(1) and 22 CCR §71835(k). Clinical training remains 100% in-person at approved facilities.

102 hours of supervised hands-on training at CDPH-approved skilled nursing facilities. 16 hours of foundational training completed before any direct patient contact.
